Tesco “Joyous Gingerbread” A large format Christmas billboard connecting outdoor advertising to point of sale

Tesco Ireland wanted a Christmas campaign that would do more than build brand warmth. They needed outdoor advertising footfall during the busiest retail period of the year, connecting the billboard message to an immediate purchase opportunity.

What we built

We produced a large-format Christmas billboard dominating the facade of a building in Dublin city centre. The billboard featured oversized gingerbread characters with the message “Joyous Gingerbread” and copy highlighting Tesco’s own-brand Christmas baking range.

The large format ensured visibility from across the street, drawing in foot traffic from multiple directions during peak Christmas shopping hours.
